i'm ashamed to say i bought a kitkat today. i was on ebay last night and tickets were fetching over £1000! no golden ticket, but it tasted good..i bit off all the chocolate then ate the little wafers one by one.

The other day i was dragged along to a garden centre..A GARDEN CENTRE!!??..hey i'm not even married or over 50! can you believe it? had to watch my brother pick up plants for his new flat. the only thing that kept me going was the prospect of eating a cornish pasty when we got the the checkpoint. i managed to past the time by discovering some truly awful home and garden nic-naks (as seen below along with other pics)...

Marvellous! what a night! one of the best gigs i've been to in a long while. they really can do no wrong, i'll even let them for not playing 'Playboy' and 'Down with Prince'. 'No Fit State' was the highlight..fat men dancing! who else (apart from Girls Aloud) have that effect?

you can watch Hot Chip's full set at radio 1's one big weekend (at the bottom of the page)..be careful not to run into the following We Are Scientists set though.
