WORD OF MOUTH
'Dumb Dumb Dumb Dumb' got played on Bristol's Word Of Mouth radio show last week, you can listen to it HERE.

GENTLEWORD LIVE (21st July)
They can do no wrong. Saturday night Safetyword slowed it down, turned it down, and became Gentleword for the night. Almost bought a tear to my eye.
Thanks to Delifinger for the pic.
UPDATE!
Delifinger has uploaded some sound recordings from the night. They were recorded on a camera so the quality does'nt do the sound justice.

Winter Jasmine (Mike Seed Cover)

ASHTON COURT FESTIVAL
Here are some pics from last weekend's Ashton Court Festival in this Bristol. It was supa dupa! You & The Atom Bomb and SJ Esau were great as always. Will there be another ACF? probably not. Will we get pissed in a field again? for sure!
THIS BOY NEEDS HELP (click to watch).
Sunday was called off due to Justin Lee Collins. That didn't stop a whole load of bands playing at various venues around town. Turned out to be a wicked night! Team Brick & Safetyword (below) shook the city!!
Thanks to Jimtendo, Delifinger & Lionheart for the pics.

OLO RADIO - BB19 - (i) - 13/7/07
I've spent the last 3 months lost in a field somewhere between north and south on Kaabooboo's map. I'm back now! covered in mud and grime. These were the toons Kaabooboo insisted on singing all night as we played eye spy under the stars (sorry he does have a flithy mouth).
You can watch a video showing how we made the poster for this podcast HERE

DEAD EARTH

Inspired by Live Earth, Delifinger & Lionheart wrote this short song on the new £20 piano that we had bought earlier in the day. After hearing it played down his mobile phone Al Gore decided to cut Madonna's set short and play it over the speaker system to the wild Wembley crowd. We left the landing light on all night in celebration.
EARTH SONG
We recorded a special performance of Michael Jackson's classic 'Earth Song' to highlight the global warming thingy. OLO say "Save the world, turn off the internet"
LET'S BUY A PIANO!
We went shopping and ended up buying a piano. Did we get it in the house though? Check out the Calvin's!
RADIO PLAY x 3
Recently we've been played on 3 different radio stations. You can listen to the clips below.

Final post i promise. A week late i know, but here it is if you're still interested. Fans of bullet points rejoice!

THURSDAY
Background Info > I got my Glastonbury ticket for free by agreeing to work over the weekend. Turns out the job i was gonna do (driving cups of tea round the site) had been filled. I had passed all the police checks etc so i was down on the list to work even though i wasn't needed.
We arrived on site after a off-road chase to avoid questions from security. Upon entry at 11pm we were told that we couldn't pitch up our tents, ha! good start. I had a wonderful few hours sleeping in the back of a car.
FRIDAY
After a fair few complications we recieved our beautiful fluorescent coats and got our security wristbands which doubled up as an all-areas backstage pass..raaah ha ha! I win again! I'm cocky now but for the whole weekend i was in constant fear of being rumbled. I think i had the coat in my possession for no more than 2 minutes before dumping it in the corner of my tent and running into the festival. This was my 4th Glastonbury but i still felt a wee bit giddy when i walked in. Mud, yeah it was a bit muddy..no bother. Within about an hour i had lost (not through choice) my friend and her friend who had got me in to the festival in the first place. Shame....although this did now give me complete control! Wooooohooooo! single life! I cracked open one of my smuggled tin's of cider, took myself by the hand and set off on a 3 day (all inclusive) bender.
Enough with the paragraphs, here come the BULLETINS!!..

If this had been last week i would have gone into detail of what happened over the weekend but i won't cos it's nearly 2 weeks since Glastonbury and i'm a bad bad blogger. You wouldn't want to hear it all anyway..too much juicey info, you couldn't handle it. Below are some little nuggets that i can remember from the festival all jumbled together (in no order). Here come the BULLETINS again!
* Because i was lonesome most of the weekend, i would (when slighty worse for wear) go through my phone and call up people for no reason other than to Billy Brag. Apparently i left loads of ridicous messages that didn't make much sense at all..this is the only one from 100's that got saved >

This is a video of my housemate receiving one of these annoying calls..CLICK TO WATCH.
* Spent most of Sunday backstage (oooh get you!) with The Fence Collective (our label). Much fun was had hanging out with them, raiding band rider's and fridge's and pretending to be important (while wearing wellies). Met Gruff Rhys again which was a highlight. Couldn't believe me luck when i snapped out of my daze to realise i was walking on stage! Ended up watching Adem, King Creosote, & Gruff Rhys sets from the side of the stage. Sadly there is no video on youtube or the BBC site. I had the biggest idiot grin on. Below is a photo of the Park Stage with an arrow pointing to me (i think)..
* For a kick i pretended i was down to my last pennies and was sold a cut price sausage roll for 20p when in fact i had £50 on me and another £50 back in my tent.
* Spent the end of Saturday & Sunday night at a few of the backstage parties (you hate me don't you?..or maybe you feel sorry for me?). Every where you looked there were celebs! awww yes! I won't name drop but i had drinkies with THEM, SOME OF THEM, A COUPLE OF THEM, and A GAGGLE OF THEM. I had a great loud row with HER & HIM (who were being all lovee dovee. They needed putting in their place). I was approached and mistaken AGAIN! for HIM. It was wierd cos looking around you obviously had people like me pretending to be important or famous and then you had the famous important people chatting to the other famous important people trying to ignore us. I told anyone who asked (and a few did surprizingly) who i was that i was the new Hollyoaks heartthrob who had just been in Shipwrecked. They didn't buy it.
* Spent most of the weekend on the run from the security people who had me down to work. Stupidly i answered my phone "JAMES!! You gotta get back here now and make sandwiches! NOW!" "I'll call you back" i replied. "Freeeeee as a biiiird" i sang while sinking my pear cider. Cheese Sandwiches? oh, i thought you said Jam.
* Took a shower in the security campsite. There was a poo in there! I had to tread very carefully.
* Cliche! I went to watch the sun rise at the Stone Circle, but fell asleep.
* Saw walking through the mud..Upsidedownface (Evis), Suggs in a wig and sunglasses (why?), Howard Marks (of course), John Cale (i think, could be a dream though?). Nearly got knocked down by JME & mates as they ran through the mud very late for their slot.
* Joined the little Bristol collective at the SJ Esau / Rose Kemp sets.
* Spent a good few hours early one morning in a stupid fit of giggles. The reason? Scaring people with

A POT OF COW. You really had to be there. I stumbled across a big christian homeless shelter where people who had lost their tents to the weather to stay and sleep. Barely able to contain my excitement i.. Can you guess what happened?
