21. THE LITTLE MAN

FOR GOD'S SAKE KEEP THAT CLOSET LOCKED

I was left speechless after watching R kelly's magical performance at the MTV video music awards. it was one of the most bizarre things i've ever seen! not meant to be, but very very funny. 'fourfour' blog will tell you about it if you missed it.

LARRY'S BACK

Hooray! Larry David (my no.1 favourite human-being in the world) is back for a 5th series of 'curb your enthusiasm'! we won't see it over here for a while yet, but the 4th series is out on dvd soon i've heard..my birthday is sept 27th.

20. LIGHT THE RASCAL

CUP O MUD

Only just got my glastonbury photos back from the shop. above are a couple of my favourites. why the hell am i still drinking from the cup o mud?

WE WAS ROBBED

Ouch! i was mugged on sunday night. the swines stole my ipod, dig camera, and phone. took a bit of a beating too, got a sore head. the daily mail are right..crooks DO wear hoddies! it was pretty exciting when the rozzers picked me up and we went and hunted them down..it was like being an extra in 'the bill' "go tosh, run!!" tosh caught up with them and found my camera..pc garfield and i blocked them off in the motor. spent the next 3 hours in the cop shop giving my statement, sobering up, and bragging about how i know judge lambert. i thought i would inquire about a job while i was there...don't think they wanted me, they threw me a mini-choc-roll though mmm! after i was let go i went hunting for the ipod and phone that they probably threw away while running from us..no luck though. it's annoying as i don't have ipod insurance. so, ive gotta go view a id parade later this week..should be interesting. then maybe i'll say... "see you in court!"

GISACANOLFAN

Went to Wales on friday, no jobs there either.

19. DOUGLAS MICHAEL (The Rabbit)

I SEE A DARKNESS

Watch one of the greatest songs ever written performed live @ the Green Man Festival ...no it's not james blunt's 'i'm bland and beautiful', it's Bonnie Prince Billy's mighty 'I See A Darkness'. There's also a liddle report and other live tunes from The Earlies, James Yorkston and Tunng. Thanks to Ross for spending hours and hours finding these gems.

18. THE PLAN WORKED

LCD JETS

2 great new videos..

1) LCD Soundsystem 'Tribulations'
looks very much like the work of Michel Gondry. i think there are better singles that could have been pucked from the album (eg Thrills), oh well it still wooops 99% of things out there in the disco halls.."grandad!!"

2) Mystery Jets 'You Can't Fool Me Dennis'
Cheeky scamps!

FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION

* Ricky Gervais is to star in the new Christopher Guest (Spinal Tap, Best In Show) Film 'For Your Consideration'

17. THE SUBCONSCIOUS JAMAICAN

Pen marks from today's court case...

SWAMP

This mix was done ages ago, but..er..we hav'nt bothered doing anything since really. don't know whether you have heard it or not but give it a go, it's not too bad for a first effort. i recommend listening to it while thinking of your boss drowning in a swamp. more mixes and OLO radio on the way!

MAKE WAY FOR THE FAMILY

Billy + Lily

my sofa used to live there, now del boy does..the house of trouser, pah!

there's nowhere to turn!! paparazzo corner Brian Arbon on his 70th birthday.

is it a close up of the new pond? no, it's keith's shirt!

dead man on the decking...i'd only had 45mins sleep at the house of trouser.

Had a really nice weekend back in Hertford Town with the old folks. saturday we went and checked out my dad's mansion he's just built..he's done well, but where's the pool dad? good to see my mut Billy again, he's as stupid as ever. played a bit of tennis which was very pleasant. saturday night i went out with Dudley and Tom, got hammered and ended up in Zeros..ha! (oh, had a quick look and found these reviews of zeros) stayed at the 'house of trouser' which used to be my gaff, but now my brothers mates live there (well, i would'nt call it living). it's lethal having a bar in a living room, espeically when there's nothing to mix the vodka with. this was the perfect preperation before goin to a 70th birthday meal. still, i got through it ok..the cake that is. Thanks to all family members!

GREEN MAN FESTIVAL

Lone Pigeon

King Creosote + Lone Pigeon

King Creosote

Pictish Trail, Adem, + King Creosote

photos by Quinbus Flestrin (thanks!)

Very upset i could'nt make it to the Green Man Festival at the weekend, from the reports i've read and the photos i've seen i should have bought a ticket instead of July's food shop..gisajobsomeone! you can view Christian Payne's photo's of Lone Pigeon and friends here.

here's what my uncle (who went) had to say about it...

"It was splendid! quick snapshot for you...
camping under a huge cedar tree in the ground of the stately house, Andy Votel mashing up a weirdness of indian soundtrack to funk to arabian, Adem playing two live acoustic sets in the camping field, fiddlers and guitraists doing improtu Johnny Cash, Pedro blasting the beards off the chin stroking set with an ear splitting live drum and sample sonic assault, Jeffry Lewis doing his comic book assitsed tunes and a great song about Will Oldham, Lone Pigeon going bonkers and doing weird demented dancing, King Creosote and the Earlies with Adem like some kind of Folk8 thing, The Earlies were splendid too and many many more too numerous and woderful to mention plus I was very pissed and can't remember the names."

John, did u make it to Bonnie Prince Billy and Joanna Newsom?

THE ARISTOCRATS

Really like the look of this new film...can't talk about it or i may be arrested!

15. WHO'S UP TOP?

KBT / BETA REALESES

This is becoming the King Biscuit Time blog. anyway, here's the cover for the upcoming single...

The tracklisting for The Beta Band's 'best of' has just been announced. i heard its coming with a bonus live cd (recorded at the last london show) which will be amazing! i really don't like best of's, they never show the whole picture. who ever's picked the tracks has really slipped up..soo many brilliant songs missing! your best bet is to just go out and get all 4 albums.

14. JUDGE DOODLES

GO WEST!

Went to Western Super Mare yesterday for my holidays...holiday..well, a few hours away from them damn crooks at the courts. went with me ma, bro, and his girlfriend. english people don't look good on the beach do they? fat, white, and ugly..and thats just us 4! boom boom! we had great little day out...
