MY 1st EVER REMIX!
I've just finished a remix for the OLO Worms 'OLO Remixed (Volume 1)' collection which should see the light of day sometime soon-ish. Above is an image i made that may well be the cover. This is my 1st attempt at doing a remix. I kind of pushed, squashed, and squeezed various bits 'n bobs of the OLO tracks 'Don't Touch Baby' & 'I Shot Shrieff' together. OLO Manager Chuck Head has booked us two more cracking gigs with a load bands we really love! Cheers Chuck!! More on these gigs to come in the next few weeks when they finally get confirmed. In case you havn't heard of Chuck Head before it's because he doesn't really like the limelight and asked us not to mention him much. HERE is a link to when we first announced him as our manager back in 2007 and HERE he is on stage with us in Cardiff. He's told us to tell you that we are an AMAZING BAND & ARE GOING TO THE TOP!

While tidying and sorting all my crap i just found a present from my 1st birthday! A painting of an cat done by my Aunt Val (not my real Aunt..a family friend who used to bug me to draw stuff when i was little)..

Yaaaaaay!! I like! I was a bit worried when it first started as it looks a little like an ipod advert but i soon got over that, stopped thinking too much and just enjoyed it. It's hard to dislike music videos for songs you love. Some things (mainly the cartoony effects) in it reminded me of the video i'm making for SJ Esau and the one i've been planning for the next proper OLO video.
(You should go HERE and watch it in HD, it really makes a difference! and this blog cuts off 1/4 of the picture which i can't seem fix?)

ANIMAL COLLECTIVE - LIVE (12th Jan)
Although not quite as good as some of the other times i've seen them (2nd, 5th), their performance was still unbelievably good. I bounced ALL the way through 'Brother Sport' which i really regretted the following three days. I've definity done enough gushing over this band over the last few years so i won't bore you too much more. The set was mainly made up of the new album and with a sprinkling of old songs. The fact they only played one new (unrealesed) song in the set was a little disappointing as i'm really keen on hearing what's up next. I've heard from now on they'll be keeping the new stuff close to their chests. THE LIGHTS! Wow! Probably the best lightshow i've ever seen!..and i know a good lightshow when i see one! Do you?

I did also film a great 10 minute (VERY slowed down) version of 'Banshee Beat' but youtube couldn't take it.

Oh, i have just found some footage from the London gig. It's during the final song 'My Girls'. You can't see anything but it's quite funny watching the security guard stood looking bored.
