I had a job interview today. i know! it was to become a librarian. perfect job! i do a lot of reading you see, last book read?? erm..'Alien 3' in the 5th year at school. the interview began well, i shook their hands and smiled (using eye contact..that is important job seekers). they outlined what they needed. this turned out to be someone who could fill in during maggie's lunch break for 2 hours everyday. seeing how i'd spent an hour and a half getting there from my home and £3.50 on the bus i stopped her mid-sentence and ruled myself out. turns out there is another (full time) librarian's job going even further away, i think i'll go and work in Iceland! ..if Kerry doesn't eat ALL the stock before i get there.

To celebrate the completion of their debut album 'Man's Name Is Legion' Safetyword have hired out The Cube Cinema (Bristol) to play the album live. there's great support from Mike Seed (who did a OLO podcast the other day) & Freeze Puppy. to top the bill off..and over the edge..OLO Radio DJs shall be present pressing the GO & EJECT buttons. the album will be on sale on the night..i can't wait to hear it! a masterpeice i'm sure. poster made by Norbo.

Spent the other night hanging out in the DJ booth with Alexis from Hot Chip. nothing more to say, this is just a boast from me to you. you probably couldn't care less..nor could he. this is an empty post. disgusting, i should be banned from blogging.

MY EYE

Woke up the other day with something in my eye. i spent all morning trying to wash it out but it would'nt budge so i went to see a doc. "i'm just going to flip your eye lid inside out" she said. AAARRGHHH!! no no no!! that's my worse nightmare! pleeeease no! actually it wasn't to bad. she had a search around in there but found nothing, so she sent me to the eye hospital. they could'nt find anything either? she added some dye to my eye and then came a sigh.."i know what's happened" she said. you have a band across your eye. she said this happens when you don't get a good night's sleep and you sleep with your eyes open..or in my case EYE open. i must have looked crazy!! with my one eye wide awake. the eye doesn't get enough fluid and dry's up..a small band of crust on the eye..nice! anyway it's gone now. my eye adventure over.

DREAM (Of BB Pete)

At the end of an exhusting dream about war and car boot sales (the war ended up being fought at the car boot..it involved characters from Neighbours) i saw Pete from Big Brother pack up all his stuff he was selling (mainly washing-up sponges), get into his tiny car and begin to drive off. i ran after him shouting "good luck with the music Pete!! when's it out!?" he looked back very embarrased.

DREAM (Of The Lottery)

These are the words i wrote down in the middle of the night when i woke from a dream. it's strange because now i don't know what half them mean? 'deer's head'? 'neil young pec'? most puzzling of all is 'air plane hacked to death'!?


I know i dreamt about winning the lottery (see some of the numbers above..b was a number), but i've forgotten to get a ticket for tonight's draw. i had 4 numbers twice on the same night..you needed five for the jackpot. i was also hanging around inside a sweet shop in the desert, which got flooded? i bought a really long tube of green sugar.

LONDON (At The Weekend)

Took a funbus into London at the weekend. much fun was had! fun = drinking with mates and that's what i did. nice to see old friends who i havn't seen for ages. old friends with new coats, new haircuts, new jobs, and new girlfriends. as the world turns, i remain the same. thanks to you all for meeting up with me. saw Safetyword again. i really think they are sick of me turning up, swaying down the front, barking song titles at them. i'm worst than Jeff! sadly their set was pretty short in order to make way for some hot new band (i don't remember them, can't have been that good). it wasn't their best gig, but we have the album launch to look forward to on the 2nd december..exciting! one thing i could have done without seeing was this Evening Standard billboard headline just as i was about to board a tube..
