My hero David Lynch's daily weather report (which has nothing to do with the weather). Don't know who these 2 guys are, or if they are connected to David Lynch (seeing as 1 of them is called jen LYNCH, it's probable) ..but they do a radio show from his website. not bad, no match for ololololollolololoololloooo!

Hey! the OLO worms site gets a mention on Pixelsurgeon. basically it's saying it's a rubbish website but that's kinda the point. Delifinger tells me it's quite a popular website for nerds like him to visit and check out new stuff. to see the post, scroll down on the pixelsurgeon site til you get to posts made on the 23rd nov.

Bristol based jewellery designer Amanda Taylor on her latest bonkers creation...
"An unusual handmade charm bracelet from Pouss Jewellery. This bracelet includes new glass beads of varying sizes and colours, haematite, cubic glass, cats eyes, handpainted and goldstone are all here and they're all gorgeous! Inbetween these beads lie small colourful plastic day of the dead skull beads, interesting quirky little pieces. Aswell as these, there are 3 bright pink circular shell pendants, double satin ribbons, plastic chilli pendants, vintage gold leaf charms and tibetan stars all mingled together to form this unique bracelet. A beautiful present or perhaps just a treat for yourself before Christmas, this is one bracelet that you should definately show off!"

It's about time Mr Evans was put down. i only managed 15 mins of 'OFI Sunday', but it was the worst 15 mins i've spent in front of the box since the last hollyoaks spin-off. awful awful TV. someone please tell him its nearly 2006, not a f-f-friday in 1996.

* Mystery Jets @ The Louisiana on 25th Nov
* British sea power @ Bierkeller on 28th Nov
* Antony Johnsons @ The Academy on 2nd Dec

New 'Supergroup' The Aliens have recorded their EP which is due out in early '06. you can listen to 'Robot Man' on their myspace here. now my view on the song is that i really like it, but it does'nt quite reach the high expectations i had. but i have every confidence aliens will go on to rule this planet. anyway John Maclean wrote this last week..
"We have been picked up by EMI... Keith Wozencroft has signed us (head hauncho at EMI) was always a huge supporter of the Beta Band. We will be releasing our EP on our own Imprint- Pet Rock Records, which will hopefully grow over the years and eentually we can sign other bands, and release Lone Pigeon and Kittens material.
The Kittens are Brian's (new member of The Aliens) own band.
The ep release date is end of Feb 2006. The ep is called Alienoid Starmonica and the tracklisting is...
HEY LEANNE
ONLY WAITING
ROBOT MAN
IONAS (LOOK FOR SPACE)
A dvd will accompany the ep with four new films.
Think Ive said enough for one post, cheers, john"

McCall??..
Potter..
Peep show guy..
McCartney..
Lady Di???..
i did see the funny side of it. others had freddy kruger, the planet of the apes cast, and the grinch.

Went to my 3rd graduation the other day. it was my brother's (seaweed). suppose i better say congrats,..'congrats'. all the family were there..grandpa jones, nelly smith, norma d decca, and great great grandfather mcmillington the 6th...those are'nt their real names. the service was brief (thank god), however there was time for my grandmother to tap me on my shoulder and tell me, and most of the cathedral that she had a bag of chocolate muffins in the car and that my mum had brought down a large bottle of worcestershire sauce for me to take home later. after the vicar put down his joke book we quickly moved in on the wine and nibbles. the rest of the day was nice..more food was eaten. i nearly wet myself when my grandad told my brother's girlfriend's mum that her meal looked like a 'millenium dome turtle'!!

While i'm on the subject of football, here are some brilliant quotes from Manager Gordon Strachan (thanks to neil dudley for sending them to me)...
Reporter: "Gordon, can we have a quick word please?"
Strachan: "Velocity" [walks off]
Reporter: So, Gordon, in what areas do you think Middlesbrough were better
than you today?
Strachan: What areas? Mainly that big green one out there.
(MY FAVOURITE..)
Reporter: "Gordon, what will you take from today?"
Strachan: I've got more important things to think about. I've got a Yoghurt
to finish, the expiry date is today.
Reporter: There goes your unbeaten run. Can you take it?
Strachan: No, I'm just going to crumble like a wreck. I'll go home, Become
an alcoholic and maybe jump off a bridge.
Reporter: There's no negative vibes or negative feelings here?
Strachan: Apart from yourself, we're all quite positive round here. I'm going to whack you over the head with a big stick, down negative man, down.
Reporter: Welcome to Southampton Football Club. Do you think you are the right man to turn things around?
Strachan:No, I think they should have got George Graham because I'm useless.
Reporter: where will Marion Pahars fit into the team line-up?
Strachan: Not telling you! It's a secret.
Reporter: "What is your impression of Jermaine Pennant?"
Strachan: "I don't do impressions"
Reporter: So Gordon, any changes then ?
Strachan: Naw, still 5ft 6, ginger and a big nose!

Why? because i was a minute away from winning £140! i put £2 on crespo to score first and the match to end 2-2 @ 70/1. shame, i was gonna use the money to replace the ipod i had nicked. not sure whether or not to go out tonight, i know for sure that if peter crouch had made any contact with that ball i would be in town right now with 2 large vodka's and a very smug face.

DREAMS OF (Cricket and Swans)

Been having some pretty morbid dreams of late even by my standards.
dream 1) two nights ago i dreamt i was at a cricket match when all of a sudden, two of my mates (who i won't be naming in case this happens and i get framed) were shot down and killed in the middle of the wicket! i had to run onto the pitch (well, did'nt HAVE to, i'm just very brave..in dreams) and try and save them. i could'nt they were already dead. i then had to pick up their cold grey bodies and take them away.
dream 2) last night i had a dream i'm sure means something. again i won't be naming the person invloved in case they start to avoid walking in parks. they were by a swamp on an island watching a group of swans. they then for no reason started to prod the swans and hurt them. one of the swans became angry and looked like it was gonna attack back. i tried to stop the person from hurting it but they were brain dead and could'nt understand me. a massive swarm (swarm? whats the collective for swans?) of swans gathered around us. i then became aware that millions of people were watching us on tv. the un-named person then broke the swans neck and killed it. everyone (including me) was horrorified by this. after some time the person came around and realised what they had done, and to write the wrong started to write a book to say sorry to all the swans and the tv audience..but it was too late, they were the most hated person in the world!
oh, nearly forgot. a week ago my mate james davidson joined dire straits on bass at wembley. i was very excited as he invited me to the after show BBQ.

Will no one think of the animals!! went to a rocket blast-off last night. hmmm..it was ok, don't think i'd know what a good firework display was if it hit me between the eyes and burnt my face off. no catherine wheels shocker! i overheard one very concerned punter shout "where's the ground display!!??" which made me laugh. i had to endure my housemate ross' constant flow of firework facts all night! "did you know that 3 sparklers stuck together would be as hot as a blow torch?" "do you know two third's of all bonfire night injuries happen to children under 16?" these facts were fresh in his mind as he had just given a talk to his school tutor group about being safe on the big night. i can't believe he is trusted to teach these kids! apparently he was giving out tips on how to look after your pets and advised one particually wealthly girl "...just make sure that you lock that stable door shut and everything will be fine"
